On Tuesday the 8th of May we met in the Wychwood Wild Gardens for a session of Qigong amongst the trees.
The weather was glorious and the woods and water were beautiful.
We focused on working with the Bird and the Four Element forms.
Please join us for the next session on Sunday the 20th of May, at 11am.
We will meet at the front gate. Read all about it here.

Qi in the Woods
I recently returned from a nine day Huagong Qigong retreat at St Katharine’s Parmoor House, headquarters of the Sue Ryder Prayer Fellowship in Buckinghamshire. It has an interesting history. The blue plaque in the picture celebrates the fact that King Zog and Queen Geraldine of Albania lived here in the 1940s.
For a few days the weather was beautifully sunny and we were able to practise Qigong outdoors.
The teacher Zhixing Wang, was teaching the 5 animal forms or frolics. The Tiger, the Bird, the Bear, the Deer and the Monkey.
We explored their essential qualities and discovered that by tuning into these qualities, we were able to flow, extend and expand our physical bodies with minimal effort.
In my upcoming classes we will explore the energy of the animal forms. It should be both fun and illuminating. I hope to see you there.
I have classes starting on Thursday June 14th at Tiddy Hall, Ascott-under-Wychwood. Find out more here, any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
